What a broad question; but that is the scope of what I’m trying to do here. To find those good drinks, and discover how to share them with the people I enjoy surrounding myself with. With the surge of digitally maintained friendships, I’ve managed to find myself with my friend base scattered across the US (and Canadia!) while I’m stuck here in beautiful Denver. So the only option is to share these thoughts, recipes, and learning experiences here. To make this blog a digital refrigerator of sorts, so that my friends back home in Georgia can reach in to this fridge of 1s and 0s and share a cyber-drink with me, or with my friends in sunny California or snowy Canada.
To be entirely honest, this blog isn’t just going to follow along my home brewing adventures. As we progress through time you’ll notice an interjection of beer/wine reviews, and probably a lot about classic cocktails. But wait, there is more! We’re not all alcoholics, so let us not forget our sober siblings of sodas and other sippers. They need to be seen, too! So please, get your store-bought grenadine and sweet and sour mix out of here. Pull up a chair, make some simple syrup or cook up a batch of beer, and ferment with me on all things liquid and consumable. It is going to be a learning journey for me, and the idea is that we can figure this shit out together.
